Cat Severely Injured in Rusty Trap Needs Your Support to Heal

Meet Gremlin

The six-year-old cat has spent her life on the streets – and seemed to prefer it – until she was severely injured.

Gremlin was originally spayed by a local rescue and it was determined at that time that she “couldn’t be socialized” and was released back into the colony.

She eventually found a barn where she took shelter and found food. However, on one of her many strolls through the nearby woods she was caught in a rusty, illegal trap.

She managed to get out but suffered severe damage to her leg. She was found limping with severe wounds to her leg and rushed to a local animal hospital.

Gremlin was examined by the vet who said that amputation was the only option. She is receiving pain medication and is scheduled for surgery.

Every step she takes is painful and she needs our support. Will you help her get the care she needs to heal?

After surgery, Gremlin will need time to adjust to life on three legs and her new indoor surroundings.

Greater Good Charities’ Emergency Animal Medical fund is helping with her medical bills, but needs your continued support. The fund was created to save the lives of sick and injured animals who arrive at shelters in need of emergency care.
