Help Save Nearly 90 At-Risk Cats and Dogs at Overcrowded California Shelters Following Wildfires – Blocklines

Help Save Nearly 90 At-Risk Cats and Dogs at Overcrowded California Shelters Following Wildfires

Animal shelters in L.A. and Orange County were already over capacity when wildfires ravaged their communities earlier this year.

You helped fly shelter pets out of the area immediately after the fires to make room for displaced pets, but sadly several of the displaced pet have been surrendered to shelters due to survivors struggling to find housing following the devastating fires.

California shelters are overcrowded and overwhelmed. Intakes continues to arrive, including sick or orphaned kittens as it is officially “kitten season”. They need immediate help to find homes for shelter animals, who otherwise could be at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space and resources.

With your support, The Animal Rescue Site and Greater Good Charities are conducting an emergency flight on June 25 to save nearly 90 cats and dogs and fly them to freedom in the Pacific Northwest.
