The six-month-old shepherd mix puppy was in training to be a service dog when a terrible accident occurred.

Jordan attempted to escape his kennel and ended up severely injuring his front right leg. He was rushed to a veterinary clinic where X-rays confirmed that he has significant muscle trauma and nerve damage.

He is on antibiotics and pain medication but may need surgery depending on how the leg heals.

Despite this setback, Jordan continues limited training like socialization, going into public places, obedience work, and visiting doctor’s offices, staff, and patients.

The sweet fella needs your help to heal so that he can go on to help others.

Greater Good Charities’ Emergency Animal Medical fund was contacted to help with his medical bills. With your support, the fund will be able to help Jordan and many more animals get the medical care they desperately need.

Jordan will either continue his training to become a service dog or if there is permanent damage to his leg, he will still give back by being a therapy dog.
