A sweet pup that looks more like a striking coyote than a dog has been able to get her strength back following a serious illness, thanks to you.
Friends with Four Paws Rescue saved Willa Coyote when she was in very poor health.

The rescue says, “She is a very tiny Pomeranian/husky mix but looks like a tiny blue-eyed coyote! When Friends with Four Paws first rescued Willa, she was battling a severe case of heartworms and overall hair loss. At only four years old, it was clear she needed a lot of help to get back on her paws.”
That’s where you came in. Thanks to your clicks, trivia participation, shopping for a cause, and direct donations, our partner Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program provided nutritious food from Ziwi Peak to the rescue. GGC facilitates this by connecting pet food suppliers with unsellable products – sometimes due to overproduction, sometimes due to the wrong packaging – to shelters in need, free of charge.

Food costs eat a huge portion of shelters’ budgets, so getting donated food opens funding up for other essential needs, like medical care for dogs like Willa Coyote.
Friends with Four Paws says, “Today Willa is a completely different dog. She’s healthy and happy! A big part of her incredible transformation is thanks to the wonderful nutrition provided by Ziwi Peak that we received through the GOODS program. Willa absolutely adores this food! We’re so grateful to Ziwi for supplying a high-quality kibble for all our rescue dogs. Knowing our dogs are getting excellent nutrition means we can confidently allocate our resources and efforts to address their many other needs.”
