Suspected Bait Dog Found with Swollen Face and Severe Wounds Needs Your Help

Honey needs your support to heal and leave her painful past behind her.

The five-year-old pit bull mix was found on the side of the road in horrible condition. She had a swollen face and severe wounds when a neighbor discovered her.

They reached out to RezDawg Rescue to save her. She was rushed to a local animal hospital where her wounds here cleaned and she was started on antibiotics.

A further examination revealed this poor dog had likely been in a dog fight or used as a bait dog. She will need daily care to heal from her wounds, nutritious food to regain her strength, and dental surgery to remove broken teeth.

The old scars covering her emaciated body prove she has been mistreated for a long time. Despite all the pain and suffering she has endured, Honey remains a sweet pup.
