I found Lady wandering around my school one night. At the time, I lived in an apartment that did not allow animals, but I snuck her in for the night. The next morning, I took her to the shelter. As a person who always grew up with dogs, it was one of the hardest things I have ever done.

When no one claimed her after a couple of days, I ended up moving out of my apartment and adopting her.

After receiving treatment for tapeworms and a UTI, she is a healthy 8 year old senior Lab. There are a few hiccups, though. Most of her teeth are broken or fractured, she definitely had puppies at one point and she has severe separation anxiety whenever I leave her.

However, every day I let her know she will always have a home with me. Going back for her was the best decision I have ever made.
