These Absurd Signs Were Made Only Because Some People Are Beyond Awful

English is one of those languages that appears easy, but it is definitely not. Over the centuries English has been adapted and localized in many different countries. That means the slang in Australia is different than the slang in Canada. It also means that English-speaking people have different accents, especially if English is not their first language. For some people, determining what is being said in English if it is a different accent than their own can be difficult. 

Owning pets is one of the greatest sources of joy for many people. Pets come in all different shapes and sizes though, and for some people that means dogs, and for others that means horses. Horses require paddocks and fields to roam around in and run when they feel like it. For some dog owners in this area, they decided they were too lazy to carry the doggy poop bags all the way home. 

Having a baby is supposed to be one of those memorable moments that parents cherish forever. For this couple, the arrival of their twins was a bit earlier than they had thought it would be, and some kind soul sent them some premature baby clothes. Naturally, someone saw a parcel of baby clothes, and instead of hand delivering it, decided to snatch it away for themselves without understanding the consequences. 

Trees are pretty amazing. They can turn carbon dioxide into oxygen, trap moisture in rainforests, and provide some much-needed shade from the sun. Indoor trees can do this as well, and just because a tree is living inside of a building, doesn’t mean that it deserves to have trash thrown at it. The soil covering the roots of a tree is not a trash can, nor is it an ashtray for people to flick cigarettes into. 

Anyone who has spent time living in an apartment building knows that there is always at least one night where everyone is woken up by something. It could be a fire alarm, but more often than not it is the sweet sounds of a relationship ending. Waking up to screaming is pretty jarring, and for the woman who can’t seem to quit her boyfriend, it must be just as unpleasant to be the one in the fight. 

Every year there is a new social media app that makes its way into the app store. For 2021, it has definitely been the video-sharing app TikTok. Wannabe content creators have been coming up with trends in the hopes of going viral, and one of those trends included sticking a smartphone on a sushi conveyor belt and filming. Admittedly, some of the videos have been pretty neat but they do infringe on diners’ privacy. 

2020 and 2021 have been hard years for most people around the world. Self-isolation and physical distancing have become the new normal, which has made many people turn to new hobbies to get by. Feeding the birds with a variety of cute bird feeders was this person’s go-to during this time until someone took it upon themselves to hijack these bird feeders. Bird feeders are expensive, but last time we checked, there wasn’t an underground market for them. 

Most dogs and cats, spend a fair amount of time indoors. That means their television is any window to the outside world. They get to enjoy watching other animals parade by, and the occasional human doing funny things. Barry might be a crusty white dog, but he is also a little guy that deserves to not be scared by people throwing things at him. Not only is it scary for Barry, but it is disrespectful to this house.

We thought this was an unspoken rule, but for this shady lady clearly, she missed the memo. People who leave things on their property, like doormats do not make them eligible for the finders keepers rule of thumb. Most people understand the simple fact that a doormat in front of a door is not up for grabs. This woman clearly did not get the memo or decided to completely disregard it. 

Family dynamics and the relationship between two partners is pretty sacred or at least it should be. For ‘Linnie’ the so-called cheating husband, he decided to go out and find himself, two girlfriends, while his wife cared for his sick mom. In the land of things that are cool and things that are not cool, this is decidedly uncool on his part. In a way, it is a blessing his partner found out. 

The whole premise of the law is innocent until proven guilty. During a scheduled workout session, someone had left their iPad unattended and a ‘nice’ person picked it up and brought it home. They must have figured they wouldn’t get caught, but what they did not anticipate was that CCTV would catch them, as well as their gym pass itself. Not all criminals have the brains to back up their terrible plans. 

There are all different types of massages, some are therapeutic, some are for injuries, and some are just to let off a bit of pent-up steam depending on the kind of establishment you frequent. Not all massage parlors offer the same services, but there does tend to be an understanding about what masseuses will and will not do. It seems like a lot of the customers at this one had some pretty unsavory requests. 

Prescriptions drugs and those found on the street are not something anyone should use recreationally yet it does happen. A lot of these drugs whether they are prescription or not do not mix well with other drugs, in particular the ones used for dental anesthesia.  We do have to wonder just how many patients at this practice did not disclose what drugs they were taking prior to their dental surgeries.

Medical emergencies can strike at any time, and for people facing these alone, it is amazing how some strangers step up and comfort them in times of crisis. That is what appeared to be happening until the person got home from their trip to the emergency room only to find out that the so-called good samaritan who waited with them for the ambulance had robbed them blind. It can be pretty disheartening to have your faith in humanity shaken like that.

Every day people are faced with two choices, to steal or not to steal. That might be a bit too black and white, but for people who repeatedly steal from the same store, it is calculated. This thief could not help but steal from this store, and when they finally managed to photograph him and post the image for all to see they decided to steal again. They did not steal something for sale though. 

Death, in a way, is the final frontier. Nobody knows what happens afterward, but bodies are mostly cremated or buried. In Spain, there is a company that cremates loved ones and then turns the ashes into terracotta planters. It is a nice way to honor something while giving the urn a more practical use than just sitting on a mantel. An enterprising thief didn’t know that though and decided to just steal the planter no questions asked. 

Dressing rooms are exactly what they sound like, a place where you dress and try on clothes you might want to buy to make sure they look good and fit properly. The one thing they absolutely are not is a restroom. Yes, they might be a similar size to a restroom, but there are no toilets or sinks which is what makes them different. Some absolutely revolting people did not understand the difference. 

When you think of cemeteries, you tend to think of headstones, graves, and churches. The two things that don’t come to mind for the average person are sunbathing and barbecues. Honoring loved ones that have passed is important, but holding a cookout and prancing around in a bikini is not the kind of honoring most people have in mind. This cemetery didn’t have that in mind either, and certain people needed to be reminded of this. 

Everyone grows up under different circumstances and in some countries toilets look rather different than those in North America. For example, in China, squat toilets are pretty normal. In Minnesota, they are not. The trick to using a toilet properly, at least the kind you sit on, is to actually sit on it. Hovering or bending over can lead to some pretty gross situations, which this place was tired of dealing with. 

Gardening is one of those pastimes that is both therapeutic and challenging. You have to go to plan out your flower beds, buy the flowers and plants, plant them, and water them routinely. A lot of dedication goes into beautiful gardens, and nobody wants to have all of that hard work go to waste. This plant burglar didn’t care about any of that though. Instead of buying their own plants, they stole 29. 

Memorials, especially the 9/11 Memorial, should never be defaced by anyone. The people who served on that day, and those involved in a variety of ways deserve to be remembered. One of the ways this was done, was by including all of their names at the memorial. Some people or a person decided to start scratching at some of the panels with names on them which was very much not okay. 

Veterinarians have one of the toughest jobs on the planet. Every day they have to diagnose animals who cannot speak for themselves, and say where it hurts or what might be wrong. There seems to be an assumption amongst people, that a vet’s office also doubles as an animal shelter where you can abandon or surrender unwanted animals. This is not the case at all though. Each abandoned animal must still be sent to a shelter. 

Summer in most places means hot temperatures and sweaty bodies. Many people don’t like to carry wallets or purses during this time, which means they need to find convenient clothing spots to hide some cash. For some people, those ‘pockets’ are the cups of their bras, or inside of socks. Both of these areas tend to get pretty moist if the weather is hot out, and a soaking wet bill is pretty gross to handle. 

There have been a lot of impressive inventions when it comes to wheelchair technology. Vans and cars can be driven, and some even have wheelchair lifts built into them. Sometimes a wheelchair does need to be left at the end of a driveway, or on the side of a road when someone is transitioning in and out of one. If there is nobody around it might appear to be a free item, but most of the time it’s not. 

Apartment living comes with its own set of rules that people really need to follow. There are the actual building rules but then there are also the unspoken ones. One of these is don’t have a screaming match with your significant other in the middle of the night. Neighbors don’t take kindly to having their sleep schedules disrupted. Sometimes in the heat of the moment couples can forget that there are other people around them. 

Anyone who has walked into a library knows that it is a pretty special place. The walls are lined with book shelves, there are computers that are free to use, and sometimes there is even a movie section. The whole point of a library is to share knowledge and to share it for free. Someone decided that they didn’t like the whole returning part of the library agreement and began hoarding kid’s movies. 

Sometimes marriages end, and that’s okay. It’s important that they end amicably if there are kids involved because how the parents behave will affect how their own relationships are in the future. This dad decided to walk out on his wife and three kids and not look back, which is his choice. The only problem here is that legally those kids still need to be looked after, and by both parents.

The thief who took this flag must not have known what it meant to this person. They probably just wanted a vintage Australian flag one day and decided that was the one they wanted. 

Sweaty money must be the bane of every cashier’s existence in the summer. People love to dig around in their bras and socks looking for some loose change or a crumpled-up bill. Having to touch someone else’s sweat just to complete a transaction though isn’t in most peoples’ job descriptions, nor should it be for cashiers. What we want to know is how many people think it is a good idea to keep money in sweaty places?

Most gas stations and convenience stores have a little coffee bar set up. You can fill up a cup with your favorite brew, add some cream or milk if it is available and a dash of sugar for good measure. Some people like to get fancy with their coffees and add some chocolate creamer or vegan milk. Most coffee stands don’t have these open, which means you need to buy a container of the stuff you want to use as a mix. 

With so many signs related to using the washroom, it would seem like a lot of people just weren’t taught how to use a toilet or even what a washroom is. A trash can in no way resembles a toilet. Yes, if there is nothing else available and you are in the middle of nowhere, then, maybe, it could be used. In an office building, a trash can in a laundry room is not a makeshift urinal. 

Sometimes restaurants and fast food chains don’t live up to our lofty expectations. Maybe the bun is soggy, or the vegetables aren’t as fresh as they could be. More often than not, the food is average which is fine. That does not make it okay to demand a new sandwich after you have already eaten the average sandwich. Every time a business has to offer something new, that is free, they lose money. 

When there is a sale on certain family planning products, people tend to flock to the store. These can be pretty pricey, which means it is time to load up as soon as there is a sale. However, these are not always a one size fits all kind of product and that means, just like the Prince does in Cinderella with the slipper, you may need to privately try on different sizes to find yours. 

Food delivery services have to be one of the best inventions of all time. All you need to do is open an app, select the restaurant you want, and a menu item and it will show up on your doorstep in a matter of minutes. Sometimes the delivery heroes get the address mixed up and the food gets delivered to a neighbor by mistake. Luckily, a photo upon delivery takes place which shows exactly where the food ends up. 

It seems like the world is full of people who simply cannot determine what is and is not a public washroom. In yet another case of someone going to the bathroom where they shouldn’t we have this person. For whatever reason, they like to use this patio as a urinal and for the person who has to both hose down the area and watch them do this on CCTV, it is not a fun job. 

Grabbing an ice cream from your favorite shop is one of the best treats at the end of a long day. Having to see someone selling drugs in the parking lot while you wait for your sundae is not something you want as an added experience. The people using this parking lot obviously don’t realize this is a family-friendly joint, and their activities are raising a lot of questions.

Living in a dorm is the first time most university students are away from home. They need to feed themselves, make sure they get to class, and use a washroom when they need to. Most dorms do not have private bathrooms attached to each room, which means everyone has to share the bathrooms. In the middle of the night, these teens opted to start using water bottles rather than the toilets. 

Sometimes the urge to spit can come out of nowhere, but it is usually one that is best followed when outside. Spitting on the street in front of people is gross, but at least it is in an area where a street cleaner can come by and spray it off. One place that it is totally unacceptable to spit is on the floor of a dollar store as you do your shopping. 

There comes a time in most peoples’ lives when they have one of those, “Oh no!” moments and realize they need a washroom right away or something unspeakable will happen. The unspeakable happened for this person, but instead of throwing their clothes out like a normal person, they decided to throw them in a communal washing machine in an apartment building. The smell is hard to get out on a regular day. 

We had no idea just how hard it is to go to the bathroom in a hygienic manner for most people. Yet again, we are faced with someone who has not learned that the point of wiping is to make sure nothing is left behind. A skid mark on a university bench after class is a hundred percent not okay in anyone’s books. How many times did this happen before someone addressed it?
