One afternoon in late November 2025, we saw someone we know from being homeless ourselves. She had two kittens that were approximately 6 weeks old. She had given two of the four away earlier that day. She was homeless again and couldn’t go in the shelter with them.

I wanted the girl kitten, but my husband said to bring them both so they didn’t freeze.
She gave us the food and carrier for them. She just keeped thanking us.

They are a character. We adore our new fur babies.
